According to Prime Minister Nicolae Chuca, artificial intelligence will help citizens by notifying government officials in real time about the proposals, problems and wishes of Romanians.
Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Chuca presented a robot named ION, endowed with artificial intelligence, and appointed him as his adviser. News.ro writes about it.
Chuca emphasized that ION is a completely Romanian project, as well as the first ever government advisor with AI. His name is a mirror image of the word NOI, which means “we” in Romanian.
“He will be given the role of Honorary Adviser to the Prime Minister and I appreciate that his role is to help us better serve the Romanian citizens by informing the government in real time about the proposals, concerns and wishes of the Romanians,” Chuca explained.

The Prime Minister noted that when creating ION, the developers sought to “give a voice” to the Romanian society through it and expressed the hope that the project will help the Romanians become “more audible”.
Data to inform officials will be collected from the public space, and the importance of certain issues will be determined by the number of preferences in social networks.
According to US Air Force CIO Lauren Barrett Knauzenberg, AI technologies like ChatGPT can simplify workflow and task synchronization between military units. Thus, AI can perform the duties of three officers involved in the processing and analysis of information at once.
Chinese scientists have also managed to simulate with the help of AI air combat, which was attended by supersonic fighters. The data obtained can be used by the military to work out the so-called “multi-wave attacks”.
