On the night of March 2, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on a residential building in Zaporozhye. Previously, it is known about the death of two people, said the secretary of the Zaporozhye city council Anatoly Kurtev in his Telegram channel.
Kurtev noted that the Russian missile almost completely destroyed the five-story building. Rescuers continue clearing debris.
“According to preliminary information, 2 people died. We offer our sincere condolences to relatives and friends,” the representative of the City Council stated.

It is also reported that help points of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, the city council and social protection have been deployed at the scene. The injured are being evacuated by public buses.
According to Kurtev, the details of the consequences of the attack by the Russian invaders are still being clarified.
Local Telegram channels also reported that a woman was rescued from the rubble of the house. According to preliminary data, she was in the corridor at the time of the impact. Her apartment is located on the second floor.
