Evolute is a new Russian brand of electric vehicles that appeared last year. Production has been established at the Motorinvest plant in the Lipetsk region.
The Evolute lineup consists of converted Chinese Dongfeng cars:

The Evolute i-Pro electric sedan was first shown to the Russian public in August 2022 at the Taxi Eurasian Forum, where in describing the advantages of the car, emphasis was placed on its practicality, spaciousness and good technical and driving qualities.
All this was transferred to the sedan from the Chinese counterpart, since the Evolute version is the result of badge engineering of the DFM Aeolus E70 sedan of the restyled version of 2020. The E70 model itself dates back to 2017, and its progenitor is the 2005 Nissan Sylphy sedan.
The Evolute I-Pro is an overgrown C-class with a body length of 4680 mm, which gives it a spacious interior along with a spacious luggage compartment (502 liters). The five-seat sedan has a front-wheel drive chassis architecture, and it is driven by a (110 kW) electric motor.
The battery is a liquid Li-NMC battery with a capacity of 53 kW, providing a range of 433 kilometers (NEDC).
The standard equipment of the I-Pro also includes full power accessories, climate control, rear parking sensors, a cabin filter, two 7-inch displays on the dashboard and a wide range of active and passive safety systems.

I-Joy is a prominent representative of the most popular form factor in Russia today, and for this reason, this compact SUV became the first model of the Evolute brand to enter the assembly line of the Lipetsk plant, and then successfully reached dealerships.
The car is a converted Chinese crossover Dongfeng Fengon E3 of 2019, which is also known as DFSK Seres 3 in export markets. The Russian version – Evolute I-Joy is no different from the donor, with the exception of the emblems, therefore it retains the original dimensions of the body (4385x1850x1650 mm.) and chassis design with semi-independent rear suspension.
The Russian-assembled SUV is available in only one technical version – with a 120-kilowatt electric motor (163 hp, 195 Nm), a single-stage gearbox and a battery with a capacity of 53 kWh.
The passport power reserve of such a crossover is 407 km, and the battery recharging time, depending on the type of charger, can vary from 35 minutes to 7.5 hours.
The I-Joy is equipped with six airbags, 18-inch alloy wheels, a virtual dashboard, a 10.25-inch media center, all-round cameras, a panoramic roof and other modern options.

In the current line of Evolute electric cars, the i-Jet crossover takes the place of the flagship model. Despite belonging to the class of mid-size SUVs, this car has a powerful all-wheel drive transmission and offers rich equipment.
Its Chinese counterpart, the Seres SF5 SUV, is available in several versions, including hybrid ones, but the i-Jet version of the car will have pure electric traction.
The combined power of the engines will be 475 kW (646 hp, 940 Nm), which will allow the 2.4-ton car to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The battery with a capacity of 90 kW declared at the same time will have to provide a cruising range under WLTC conditions of about 490 km.
The manufacturer announces the upcoming release of one version of the Evolute i-Jet crossover, where the list of pre-installed options will immediately include LED optics, a panoramic roof, dual-zone climate control, a projection display, 6 airbags, 20-inch alloy wheels, a large 15.6-inch central multi-touch screen, virtual “devices” and many others. others
At the same time, the pre-Russian version of the electric SUV will not get the air suspension, which is offered as an option to Seres SF5 buyers.
Prices and specifications have not yet been announced.
Evolved i-Van
The Evolute i-Van electric minivan was on the list of promising models of the Evolute brand, however, in November 2022, the Russian manufacturer decided to temporarily (until the car was “adapted”) stop producing such cars in favor of the “large” SUV C + crossover.
The seven-seat electric train was supposed to be a copy of the Chinese Dongfeng LingZhi EV of the 2020 model, which, in turn, was built on the basis of Mitsubishi frame minibuses. By the way, it is for this reason that springs have been preserved on the rear wheel axle of the electric minivan.
In the configuration of the Evolute i-Van, a relatively modest 109 hp engine was announced. With. (80 kW), which turned out to be clearly weak for a 5-meter van: acceleration to 100 km / h for a car in this modification took 18 seconds at a “maximum speed” of 105 km / h, although the promised battery with a capacity of 57 kW * h was supposed to guarantee cruising range of 353 km.
At the heart of such a car is a frame structure with a torsion bar front suspension. Other basic equipment was also planned to be modest: with halogen headlights, one driver’s airbag and steel rims. In the version with all the options connected, the van could get alloy wheels, a multifunction steering wheel and an airbag for the front passenger.
Evolute I-Sky (SUV C+)
More recently, the expansion of the model range of the Russian brand of electric vehicles Evolute was announced. And on the official website there was information about a certain mid-size C + class crossover, which will bear the name – Evolute i-Sky.
It is assumed that the i-Sky will be a refurbished Chinese car (however, like all Evolute models) – Dongfeng Forthing Thunder EV. This is a new Chinese crossover presented in December last year, which is not officially sold even in China.
According to the passport characteristics of the Dongfeng Forthing Thunder crossover, it is expected that its Russian counterpart Evolute i-Sky will have a 204 hp electric motor. With. (340 Nm) and a traction battery with a capacity of 57.8 kWh.
The power reserve of this version will be 430 km. (CLTC), and with a more capacious drive of 85.9 kWh, it will reach 630 km.
