“If Western support for Ukraine continues, sooner or later there will be those willing to send troops,” he said.
In addition, Orban supported the plan to end the war in Ukraine, which was previously proposed by China. The Hungarian prime minister also supported a resolution from the ruling Fidesz party, which states that Budapest stands for peace and does not want to get involved in a war.
In addition, Orban again criticized the European Union sanctions that were imposed against Russia for invading Ukraine. He is sure that this is the cause of inflation, which cannot be stopped.
“Wartime inflation is a disease, and a virus is a sanction. This is a domino thrown in Brussels,” Orban said.
