According to the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region, teenagers are victims of Russian propaganda, whom the aggressor country is trying to use to destabilize the situation in Ukraine.
In Kharkiv, the security forces detained teenagers who planned to organize riots on the Constitution Square in the city center. Volodymyr Tymoshko, head of the Main Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Russian killers and looters launched a flash mob for teenagers, the result of which was supposed to be a mass brawl. The police promptly detained everyone involved in this dangerous game,” Tymoshko wrote.
Now militiamen invite parents of detainees. Juvenile police officers will meet with them and conduct preventive conversations.
Tymoshko added that the involvement of minors in this group is another fact of Russia’s criminal activities directed against Ukrainian children.
In turn, journalist Svetlana Kryukova claims that the minors detained on the Constitution Square in Kharkiv are members of the Redan PMC. This is a youth movement of lovers of Japanese culture and anime, which originated in Russia.
Somewhat later, the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region published new facts about the organization of mass riots in the center of Kharkiv, behind which the Russian Federation stood.
Organizers from the Russian Federation also recruited Kharkiv residents on social networks, who were supposed to oppose anime teenagers from Redan and start a fight with them using knives.
“According to the plan of the FSB of the non-state, which, through manipulation and deceit, gathered all these people into groups, they had to arrange a mass brawl in the city center so that the TV of the non-state could enjoy it,” Tymoshko wrote.
In support of his words, Timoshko posted on his Facebook page screenshots of the correspondence between Russians and the organizers of the riots “on the spot.”

In total, according to Vladimir Timoshko, 257 citizens were detained in Kharkiv in connection with the organization of mass riots in the city center, of which only 30 were adults.
PMC “Redan”: what is known about this group
The Russian Air Force Service writes that PMC “Redan” is a youth subculture of lovers of Japanese culture, inspired by the anime series “Hunter x Hunter”.
Distinctive features of the appearance of supporters of the movement are long hair, the image of spiders on clothes and the number “4”.
The so-called Redan PMC has nothing to do with paramilitary formations like the Wagner PMC, whose mercenaries are fighting in Ukraine on the side of the Russian Federation.
According to the Russian media, in the last week of February, the police began to massively detain these teenagers throughout the Russian Federation for organizing mass riots.
Recall that at the end of February, the Ukrainian military reported that in the occupied Melitopol, Russian invaders were forcing schoolchildren to take the oath of “Yunarmeets”. This is a pseudo-patriotic children’s public movement in Russia, created in January 2016. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the organization was included in the sanctions list of all EU countries, as well as Ukraine and Switzerland, for spreading Russian propaganda and glorifying military aggression.
