According to a recent study, the American Jeep brand is the most patriotic automotive brand in the United States.
It cannot be denied that the cars of the major Detroit brands that belong to the mega-concern Stellantis, namely Ram, Dodge and Jeep, are very popular with Americans. Dodge offers high-performance versions for each of its models. Ram has powerful full-size pickups. But in the latest Brand Keys poll, people see Jeep as the most patriotic brand of them all.
Keep in mind that this ranking is not limited to the automotive sector.
Brand Keys’ annual patriotic survey covers virtually everything in the commercial sector, from retail chains to online services, television networks, sports and more. According to the survey, the supermarket chain Walmart came in second, Disney in third, Ford and Amazon in fourth, and The New York Times in fifth. Focusing on the automotive sector, Harley-Davidson came in at 14th, while Tesla just came in at 30th. There are no other companies related to the automotive industry on the list.
The survey involved 5,804 respondents aged 16 to 65 years. Brand Keys says the survey team was balanced in terms of gender and political affiliation, and they were drawn from nine US census regions covering the United States. The survey involved 1,172 different brands, of which 50 were ultimately chosen as the most patriotic. The list only includes 30 positions because many brands are tied to ratings.
“The state of the world and the marketplace have changed the fundamentals of consumer loyalty and patriotism in general and in the context of brands,” said Brand Keys President Robert Passikoff. “Brands’ movement up and down the annual list has been relatively modest.”
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was recognized as very uneconomical in terms of fuel consumption. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released fuel consumption figures for its Jeep Grand Wagoneer SUV.
