The motorsport world is preparing for what is probably the biggest race of the year: the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It is therefore logical to think of the classic Le Mans when you see the BMW M Hybrid V8, the latest racing prototype from Munich… But the reality is a bit more complicated. Presentation, and explanations!

One car for the United States and Le Mans

If BMW has recently abandoned its presence in the WEC Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it is not the same across the Atlantic. In the United States, the endurance championship is called IMSA, and has remained very popular with spectators and builders alike. The latter are preparing their cars for the 2023 season, under new technical regulations. But the good news for us is that this new technical regulation is shared with the ACO, and therefore the 24 Hours of Le Mans!

Any prototype developed for races in IMSA can therefore come and race in the Sarthe. This is also the case with the BMW M Hybrid V8! This prototype, designed for the United States, meets the requirements of the LMDh category, and can in theory face Toyota, Alpine, Glickenhaus, but also Peugeot, Porsche or Ferrari from 2023.

BMW M Hybrid V8: 700 hp and a house look!

Technically, this category is a kind of “LMP2 Plus”. The chassis, here designed by Dallara, is compatible with the LMP2, to reduce costs. Manufacturers can then apply their house styling, and choose an engine. In terms of style, there is no doubt that this racing boat is indeed a BMW. We immediately recognize the brand grille, with its large nostrils. These allow air to be channeled into the car and to the brake scoops. The optics are rejected at the corners of the front face, with a light signature formed by two LED strips. The rest of the style of this BMW M Hybrid V8 is mainly dictated by aerodynamics. However, we find the Hoffmeister Kinkthis line that “closes” the back of the window.

On the technical side, as its name suggests, the BMW M Hybrid will be equipped with a… V8 hybrid. The motor in question is derived from the block used in DTM, and is therefore not linked to a series model. BMW adds two turbos here, and above all a hybrid system. This system is mandatory in the LMDh category, with a maximum power of 67 hp. The whole cannot, moreover, exceed the 697 ch, what remains, you will admit, is more than enough in a car that should remain under the ton. Everything can be adjusted race by race by the organizers to ensure a performance balancing between different cars.

Soon at the 24 Hours of Le Mans?

So could we see the BMW M Hybrid V8 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans soon? At present, BMW prefers to focus on the American championship. The car will also be managed by a local private team, Team RLL. But it would be silly for BMW to deprive itself of a return to Le Mans, when the car is already developed and corresponds to European regulations… BMW has not yet not officially ruled out the idea. The big race, later this week, will perhaps be the occasion to know a little more. BMW has not fought for victory in the premier class at Le Mans since the victory of the BMW V12 LMR in 1999.

Announced by Emmanuel Macron during the presidential election campaign, the promise of an electric car at €100/month appears more complicated than expected to materialize. The argus takes stock of its launch date, the target audience and the potentially eligible models.

An electric car at €100 per month? For now, even the Dacia Spring has not lived up to Emmanuel Macron’s campaign promise.

DR

Promises are only binding on those who listen to them, the saying goes. But that of Emmanuel Macron on the arrival of electric cars at 100 € / month, carried out during the campaign for the 2022 presidential election, is well in the boxes of the new government… although it might take some time to implement. “It’s probably not for September”, warned Agnès Pannier-Runacher, the current Minister of Energy Transition, at the microphone of France Info. Adding that it also wouldn’t be for everyone: it is aimed at the French people who need it the most.»

Those for whom the vehicle is a work tool, I am thinking of private nurses for example, (…) and those who cannot afford to switch to a clean vehicle because it is too expensive today on the market.

As with the conversion bonus, we can thus expect to see this new aid include criteria of income and/or mileage traveled on the home-to-work journey.

Aid on a constrained budget

If this device takes so long to be launched, it is also because it should not cost the government too much. For a target of approximately 100,000 leased vehicles per year, an estimated budget of 50 million euros would have been considered. That’s barely €500 per vehicle. An equation far from being easy to solve because electric cars remain much more expensive than their thermal counterparts, a fortiori in these times of various shortages and galloping inflation. Currently, only the electric Fiat 500, Dacia Spring or Renault Twingo E-Tech are approaching this €100/month mark for long-term rental (LLD) or rental with option to purchase (LOA), with proposals at 119 or 120 €/month. The Opel Corsa-e, with its 129 €/month, or the Hyundai Kona Electric, with its 139 €/month, are also well placed. But these offers each time include a substantial contribution, which can however be fully or partially covered by the addition of the bonus and the conversion premium.… provided you already have a fairly old vehicle to scrap.

Models already at €99/month… subject to conditions

The Nissan Leaf and MG ZS EV did even better. They managed, a few weeks ago, to be offered at 99 €/month. Except that to take advantage of this canon price, it was also necessary to benefit from the highest conversion bonus, reserved for income per unit of less than €6,300 or for large rollers. Above all, these were fairly aggressive and one-off promotions, which are no longer relevant today. Now count 179 € per month for the Japanese compact and downright 289 € / month for the small Sino-Korean SUV, penalized by residual values for the moment a little low. With 290 € / month minimum in long-term rental over 49 months for 40,000 km, the Peugeot e-208 also appears to be moderately placed. In return, the ecological bonus of €6,000 is enough to finance his first increased rent. As for its great rival Renault Zoe, it starts at €170/month. We are therefore very far from 100 € per month when it is the only model on our list made in France, a criterion which could also be important.

If we look at the average price of batteries since 2012, the total cost dropped over 80%. But in the meantime, the average purchase price of a new electric vehicle has increased by 80% (data for the United States).

And it only gets worse with the current situation. If we look from the side of Tesla for example, the Model 3 which is the best-selling model in Europe has seen its prices rise. Last March, the model had a price of nearly 2,000 €. For a car sold just below €50,000, the increase is still barely noticeable for potential buyers. But if we look at the recent Dacia Spring, whose price is around 18,890 €, the recent increase of €1,000 changes the situation.

But this paradox of price increases in the face of falling battery costs can be explained in several ways.

Manufacturers prefer to develop luxury models

One of the main reasons for the divergence between the prices of electric vehicles and that of batteries is that most car manufacturers develop high-end models before focusing on cheaper vehicles.

According to Michelle Krebs, an executive analyst of Cox Automotive interviewed by the English media Quartz, the reason is clear: “ It is very common for automakers to deploy any type of new technology to the most expensive cars first, as luxury car buyers can afford the price.« .

Then, once car manufacturers have increased the volume of production and succeeded in reducing costs, they introduce these characteristics on more affordable models.

Are electric vehicles only profitable in the luxury segment?

If we look at the beginnings of the electric vehicle market, the situation took a completely different turn.

Indeed, the Nissan Leaf was the first 100% electric car to be sold on a large scale in the 2010s. And the arrival of Tesla, now a key player in the electric market, changed the situation. With the ModelS, a premium sedan that sold for $57,400 for the cheapest version at the time, the market quickly moved on. And today the Model3 take the same path. With prices significantly higher than 50,000 euros for the entry price in France, Musk’s sedan is not accessible to everyone!

If we look at the side of the other manufacturers, the observation is the same. Only Dacia, with her Spring, tries to play on the entry-level field, with a 100% electric car displayed at below €20,000 (excluding €6,000 bonus). But at this price, you have a vehicle that offers 158 km of real autonomy (and 119 km on the highway)!…

Current crises complicate matters

Also, the semiconductor shortages and factory shutdowns during the pandemic have also driven up the price of all cars, whether gasoline or electric.

Finally, the current crisis in Ukraine also increases the cost of raw materials, pushing prices up.

But the high prices thus deter motorists from switching from a gasoline-powered car to an electric vehicle. And if Europe wishes to succeed in meeting its climate commitments, manufacturers will have to make more efforts on electrified entry-level models!

Daimler Truck intends to mass-produce an electric long-haul truck within two years.

And the company says its trucks will have a range of about 500 kilometers real. test vehicles from l’eActros LongHaul will be put into circulation this year, Daimler Truck announced this week.

Daimler Truck produces the eActros truck

The production of the first eActros started last year in Wörth, Rhineland-Palatinate. This truck intended for distribution transport has, depending on the model, three or four battery packs. For the moment, this first truck will have a range of up to 400 kilometers.

Other more efficient versions are in the test phase to go beyond this stage and titillate the real 500 km.

Meet EU climate protection targets

The truck sector is under pressure from the European Union to meet binding climate protection targets.

On average, new models should emit 15% less carbon dioxide from here 2025 and at least 30% from here 2030. The reference period for this data is . If the objectives are not respected, heavy penalties are foreseen.

Battery and fuel cell

To do without the combustion engine, Daimler Truck relies on batteries and the battery combustible. The manufacturer is the world leader in commercial vehicles and employs nearly 100,000 people. Among its rivals are the future Tesla Semi, the Volvo FH Electric or even more recently the camion Geely Homtruck.

As often at the beginning of the month, several changes are made for the French. gas prices, purchasing power, or vignette Crit’Air, this month of June is less loaded with adjustments than the previous one.

You can also find them, as usual, on the official government website.

Traffic ban for Crit’ Air 4 & 5 in Greater Paris

There are regulatory changes Crit’ Air in Ile-de-France. Indeed, from the month of June, vehicles with a sticker Crit’Air 4 glued to the windshield will no longer be able to drive in the low emission zones of the Greater Parisin addition to Paris intra muros (entered into force last year).

Which vehicles are affected?

Concretely, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.diesel cars built before 2006, and those with petrol engines before 1997 will no longer be able to drive in Week.

This prohibition remains valid every day for trucks and buses. If the motorist does not respect the regulations, a fine of 68 euros may be applied. And to circulate in a ZFE, the corresponding Crit’Air sticker must be affixed to the windshield.

Reminder of the vehicles concerned:
  • them diesel vehicles before 2006 ;
  • them gasoline vehicles from before 1997 ;
  • them motorized two-wheelers before July 2004.

An area that is still growing in Ile de France

Concretely, the area is even more extensive compared to last year. Compared to the map below, the previous zone extended mainly in the spaces located in the perimeter of the A86 mainly.

Looking at the new area, it remains largely similar on the western flank, integrating Viroflay as well as Vélizy-Villacoublay in addition.

On the southern part, the zone stops at Viry-Châtillon, in the south-east it extends to Varennes Jarcy. To the east, the ZFE stops near Champ-sur-Marne and extends to the northeast at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. To the north and northwest, the new area includes the town of Argenteuil and extends to the north of Saint Denis.

What changes for the previous month?

A month ago, the changes made were even more numerous. To read in detail all the news from May 1st, follow this link.

Chez Lexusle RX acts as best-seller for the Japanese premium brand.

The flagship SUV, launched in 1998, enjoyed real commercial success with nearly 3.5 million copies sold worldwide. In Europe, the RX has made a small place for itself since the 2010s and the arrival of the 3rd generation. In total, it sold nearly 300,000 units on the Old Continent.

Benefiting from a well-established popularity rating, particularly with a public North American and Asian (mainly China), the RX is trying with this 5th generation to expand its customer base.

For this, the Japanese bet on the embedded technology, them driving assistance and an active safety et passive very advanced. With this new version, Lexus intends more than ever to shake up this so compartmentalized market of European premium SUVs.

A modernized design with more character

In terms of design, the Japanese has chosen to modernize its flagship SUV without upsetting the codes.

On the front, we find the characteristic style of the brand’s models, with a trapezoidal grille, typical of Lexus vehicles. The grid of this one is also based on the upper part in a “muzzle” which lengthens the size of the hood. The whole gives a more assertive style and above all more character for this new RX.

Regarding the headlights, here we have an elegant luminous signature in L with very thin lights, which give a style that is both more refined but also more premium.

The roofline ends at the rear with a small spoiler, which gives the RX a coupé-like air, refining its rather imposing silhouette.

At the level of the quarter panel, there is a black bar which leaves a small glazed space and which comes to stop until the tailgate.

At the rear, there are two large horizontal headlights connected by a large light strip, like the brand’s latest models (NX et RZ). Finally, a Lexus badge, affixed to the center, completes the rear look of this SUV.

Always an XXL template

What an RX of 5th generation grows very slightly compared to the previous version of 2015.

The vehicle does 4.89 meters pour 1.92 meters of width and 1.72 meters height. Dimensions that place it at levels similar to a BMW X5 latest generation, for example.

Compared to the previous RX, the vehicle gains 25 mm in width but loses 10 mm in height. The designers wanted to lower the design of the SUV a little and give it a little coupe look. The idea is to make the line more dynamic and it works quite well.

Regarding the wheelbase, it gains nearly 60mm all the same, which suggests better habitability on board.

Finally, we find on this finish large 21-inch rims.

A cabin with neat finishes

Inside, there is no doubt that we are on board a premium SUV. The choice of materials is highly sought after, like the add omnipresent in the cabin, pieces artisanal Takumi in the doors or even wood veneer on the central column.

Regarding cockpit, the engineers wanted to come up with something sober and clean, all centered on the driver. There is a head-up display system for example or this large 14-inch multimedia panel slightly inclined.

Lexus has not given in to all touchscreen since we find knobs nicely integrated into the touchscreen, which facilitate the adjustment of the air conditioning.

In the rear seats, there is plenty of room, whether for the head or for the legroom. Even large sizes (up to 1.90m) will be comfortably installed.

Three engine levels for this RX

This new SUV will be offered in three hybrid engines, but only two will be available in Europe.

At the heart of the range, the model RX 450h+ will be the only PHEV model (actual hybride rechargeable). It is motorized by a block 2.5 L of 306 ch and can insure up to 65 km range in 100% complete electric.

The sportiest of the three versions, the RX 500h will be a classic hybrid. It has a 2.4 L block developing 371 hp for 645 Nm of torque and it completes the exercise from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.9 seconds.

Finally, the RX 350h will not be marketed in Europe for the moment. This is the least powerful hybrid with 245 hp under the hood.

Regarding prices, Lexus announces a first estimate to 88 900 € for the 450h+ entry ticket. Orders should open from here

It will be available for order from this month of June and the first models should arrive in dealerships by the end of the year.

Le Lab Auto Plus offers you a compilation of tips to keep your car “clean” this summer or to restore it to its full shine at the start of the school year! How to sublimate a bodywork stained with tar or sap stains? How to remove a stubborn smell of vomit? Here are our tips that can be done at a lower cost with a good dose of…elbow grease!

Complete check-up of your car!

Before hitting the road, a check-up of your car is essential. Here are 6 points to check :

  1. Levels.
Oil, power steering, coolant… For everyone, the level should be between min and max.
For brake fluid, if the container is at its lowest, do not try to fill it. Either the pads are at the end of their life or there is a leak. Get checked as soon as possible.
  2. The tires
Examine the sidewalls and tread for any cracks, tears or foreign objects. Make sure that the minimum wear indicators are not reached.
Check the pressure (spare wheel included) and adjust it using the manufacturer’s label stuck in the door or the fuel filler flap.
  3. The visibility
Wash your windows and check the condition of the windshield. Make sure you have windshield washer fluid, preferably insect repellent (see tips, below).
Are your windshield wipers in good condition? to find out, pull the rubber blades. If they tear, you are good to change them.
  4. lighting
Check that all your lights are working. If you are alone, park against a wall.
  5. The climate
Make sure the air conditioning is working properly. To know if it is cold, close the vents, except one. Place a thermometer and turn the fan on full blast with the lowest temperature setting. The temperature should be between 5 and 10°C.
  6. Rescue equipment
Check that you have all the safety equipment such as triangle and retro-reflective vest. Make sure the jack is securely in place, as are the wrench and lock nuts. If you have an anti-puncture kit, check that it is functional and that the expiry date does not exceed 5 years. Beyond that, replace it. Also consider a small first aid kit, including: disinfectant, dressings and why not arnica (for blows), a painkiller (for headaches) and possibly an antihistamine, if you suffer from allergies. Please note that certain medications may be incompatible with driving. Check the pictograms carefully.

What to do if you have pine resin on your body?

The resin is a real wound to cleanse from a bodywork. First piece of advice, during a day at the beach, avoid parking under a resinous tree as much as possible (pine, fir, cypress, cedar, cedar, etc.). Or provide protection (mini-tarpaulin type) for the top of the vehicle. If it’s already too late, here’s how to do it…

First of all, test the solvent products on an inconspicuous part of the bodywork. If your white cloth takes on the color of the bodywork or takes on a yellowish appearance (varnish), stop everything and use a less corrosive product.

To remove a trace of resin, the bodywork should be very hot. Then, boil water and pour it over the parts to be treated. Once the sap is soft, roll it under your fingers and remove as much as possible.

Wipe off any residual marks with a cloth soaked inessence F. It is less effective than acetone, but also less aggressive for varnishes. Rub until the traces disappear, adding product regularly. For windows, use acetone, avoiding touching the seals.
Wash the vehicle once the operation is complete and apply a polish to allow the drops of sap to become less encrusted.

What to do if you have insects embedded in your car?

After a long drive on the motorway, and especially in summer, your bumper and your windshield are usually smeared with bugs. React quickly to remove them. If nothing is done, they can become permanently encrusted on the bodywork and on the windows. Like tar, a simple high-pressure cleaning is not enough to remove all traces. For residues, here are the tips from Labo Auto Plus.
NB: to avoid encountering these difficulties after a future trip, the prior application of a greasy product such as an express polisher is recommended.

On the windshield

Slip a sponge soaked in insect cleaner (or windshield washer fluid)… into nylon tights! Resistant and tight, their mesh is formidable for unhooking critters. On the same principle, there are specific sponges (€4 at the car center).

On the body

Diluted mosquito repellent in very hot water. Spray on the bodywork. Then cover with paper towel and spray again. After 10 minutes, the combined action of the product and hot water will have removed most of the insects, without you having to scrub! To remove the last traces, rinse with boiling water and wipe with a microfiber cloth.

If you are (too) late

Over time, insect juice attacks the paint. Only the abrasive power of a scratch eraser will overcome it. Apply the product in circular motions (with a cotton ball or soft cloth), then polish. Tedious, but effective

The interior of our cars is abused on vacation. Here are the tips from Labo Auto Plus to find an interior worthy of the name…

How to remove a trace of sea water from the seats?

A wet bathing suit or a wet towel leaves a white mark. The salt will deteriorate the fabric, “burn” it. Rinse as soon as possible with clear water, then vacuum or sponge with a microfiber cloth.
This will save you, on your return, from having to go through the injector-extractor to overcome it.

How do I get rid of an ice stain?

As soon as the incident occurs, scrape off as much as possible using a plastic card, for example, and wipe with a handkerchief or towel.
Then, before the stain is completely dry, spray some cleaner, brush and vacuum.

How do you remove chewing gum from a seat?

It is easier to get rid of chewing gum when it is dry. Moreover, it is often advisable to use an ice cube to harden it. When the rubber is very hard, unhook it gently, then brush to remove the excess.
If you don’t have time for this task right away, stick a piece of fabric over the chewing gum to protect your clothes.

How to overcome a trace (and smell) of vomit?

If the traces are not difficult to remove, the smell is tenacious. The earlier the cleaning takes place (spraying, brushing and vacuuming), the less the fibers are impregnated. Eventually, baking soda can remove lingering odors. Sparkling water removes streaks.

How to de-sand a carpet?

Not as easy to clean as it looks! You have to vacuum the floor by tapping with the flat of your hand to bring up the sand buried in the carpet, which is thus caught by the tip of the vacuum cleaner. Avoid rubbing it on the carpet to better vacuum, it can break the fibers.

electric car, solution miracle. less polluting, cheaper to use, more durable… This version, you cannot have escaped it. It is the only one that the public authorities and manufacturers, well obliged to follow the movement, want to serve us well. Less polluting electricity, we already know thatit is necessary to qualify the statement. Cheaper ? Here too, we must be careful not to be categorical. The economy thanks to electricity is not a utopia, but not systematically a reality either.

Purchase price

First observation, even with the different aids, and they will decrease, the price of buying a new electric car is high. More than a thermal car and there are no exceptions.
Of course, there are the helpers. Ecological bonus up to 6000 Euros, conversion bonus up to 5000 Euros and exemption from registration tax up to 100% in certain departments. But these aids are, in essence, no pun intended, not eternal.
As for the ecological bonus, we do not really know on which foot to dance. Will it drop on July 1? Bercy remains vague on the subject. But Ultimately, what meaning will these measures have?

Disappearing thermals

The combustion engine is disappearing traffic at an astonishing speed. In March 2022, 13% of cars sold were electric. At this rate, when in 2035 the thermal engine will be banned in Europe, it will already be largely in the minority. And what will then be the interest of these aids? Changing cars will no longer be an ecological gesture. And it is hard to imagine manufacturers lowering their prices. These aids are a single-shot rifle, no more. And without them, the purchase price is prohibitive.

The second-hand solution

For the moment, second-hand cars are still far from being the majority. The market is certainly booming (+103.43% in 2021), but with 56,760 registrations, used electric cars only represent 0.95% of the total car fleet. The transformation really began in 2019, far too recent to have a substantial second-hand fleet. Is it really interesting tobuy a second hand electric ? The magnitude of the discount must take into account government aid for the purchase of new. When they are gone, it will be really advantageous to buy a second-hand one. Be careful though, ifhe value of electric cars was falling at breakneck speed in 2019, this is no longer true in 2022. A second-hand electric car is therefore not really cheaper to buy today than a thermal one. On the contrary. More and more, motorists will seek to sell off their combustion car Advantage all the same, buy a used electric now, it avoids delaying the inevitable. Translation: that is done.

Energy

Here it is indisputable: driving on electric is cheaper than filling up. In all cases. Fossil fuels continue to become scarce, and their price, if it comes to fall, will not fall significantly. According TotalEnergiespresent on both fronts, 100km in electric will cost you 2.90 Euros against 8.40 Euros if you drive unleaded. France. But again, this is short-term reasoning. France is self-sufficient in electricity for his current needs. If 32 million cars run on electricity, there will be more demand, and therefore, inevitably a rise in prices. To the point of reaching crazy oil prices? Probably not. But the electric eldorado is not eternal. The price of electricity is already rising for household consumption, it will inevitably be so at the charging stations. Another constraint, the price of electricity varies according to the hour. Not the gasoline one.

The batteries

The angry subject. Admittedly, between the beginnings of electric in the 2010s and now, the price of a battery has gone from 913 Euros/KWH to an estimated cost of 83 Euros/Kwh in 2023. And they should fall by another 20% by 2030. Then there remains the difficult choice between renting and buying. Both have their pros and cons for an item that represents between 25 and 40% of the total price of the car. Their price varies according to their autonomy, that of the car also, consequently. Currently, planned obsolescence is 10 years for a battery. This is the only point on which manufacturers can play to make lower their prices. Do they want it? Until they do, it will be impossible to say that electric is really cheaper than thermal.

The interview

The other real plus for the consumer. A shortfall for professionals. The maintenance of an electric car costs 25 to 30% cheaper than that of a car with a combustion engine. Brakes, tires, lighting, nothing changes on that side. But an electric motor is easier to maintain than the engine as we know it. If the electrical system, the charging system and the battery are working properly, the main thing is done. Next, it’s in your hands that everything rests. If you spare your car, it has no reason to flinch.

The future ?

Not so bright as it looks. Electricity will become commonplaceand in this case, trivialization is not not a good sign. The aid will eventually disappear, the efforts of the manufacturers to convince you will become useless and therefore be abandoned. Tll the benefits of electrification will be just a memory when there is no other choice. Not to mention that it will surely not solve the problem of traffic jams and parking. France wants to get rid of cars. Ps only thermal cars. Count on an indulgence from town halls and the State for electric cars? For once, it would really be swimming in the middle of utopia.

To mark the occasion, the German brand offers them a special series! And if one is equipped only with aesthetic improvements, the other becomes the most powerful version of its model! But what cars are they?

2022 marque and 20e anniversary of two iconic models within the Volkswagen range, the one of the Touareg as well as that of the Golf R32! For the occasion, each model is entitled to its small special series. If one of them mainly displays cosmetic modifications, the other gains in power to become the most powerful production Golf ever produced!

Happy birthday, Tuareg!

Let’s start with the bigger of our two babies: the Tuareg. Its special version receives a whole series of “Edition 20” badges. It also dresses in an exclusive dark blue tint as well as black details. Subtle touches for a birthday that is far from being! It must be said that in just 20 years the Touareg has already marked automotive history…

The SUV of all records?

Launched in 2002logically 20 years ago, the Touareg embarked an unusual block: a V10 Diesel! Relatively “little” powerful with its 313 hp, it overflows with torque with 750 Nm! Therefore, he can pull a Boeing 747, and presto, a first record for the time. The second, he scored in Dakar by being the first diesel to win the event! With its 5 cylinders, it won consecutively three times between 2009 and 2011. Respect.

20 years like this…

On the other side, Volkswagen is also celebrating the 20 candles of the Golf R32 with another special edition. Here, to mark the occasion well, Volkswagen has pushed the 4-cylinder of the Golf R 20 Years up to 333 hp! Result, it is the most powerful Golf ever produced!

It’s this one !

What would a special edition be without its unique aesthetic details? Inevitably, there are a host of 20R logos subtly applied here and there. But the German also offers real carbon inside as well as a specific tub and blue-tinted rims. Our little finger tells us that, if there is one Golf to have, this is it…
