It is assumed that two electric vehicles will be sold in Russia: the Exeed Sterra ES sedan (which we have already written about in detail) and the Exeed Sterra ET crossover.

At the Shanghai Auto Show, Chery had one of the largest displays, with several spots reserved for cars from its new sub-brand, Sterra. It will “submit” to the premium Exeed brand, and it is planned to supply cars for export under a different name – Exlantix.

By the way, that was the name of the concept (Exlantix E0Y), which was also shown at the exhibition, and which right now is at the stage of its transformation into a serial Sterra ET crossover.

City electric SUV Exeed Sterra ET (or Exeed Exlantix E0Y) will be all-wheel drive with a body length of about 5 meters. Outwardly, it mostly exploits the Exeed brand style with DRL strips under the hood and a streamlined body.

The manufacturer does not disclose any details about the equipment of this car, but there is a high probability that it will be similar to the configuration of the Sterra ES sedan. It is known that this model was built on the latest E0X platform, which allows the use of an 800-volt on-board electrical system, air suspension, a fully controlled chassis, frameless doors and other things that are typical for modern “premium electric trains”.

In the cabin of the Sterra ET crossover there will be a steering wheel, a compact digital instrument panel and a large central “TV”. From what you can see – the presence of a projection screen and the almost complete absence of physical buttons in the cockpit. At the same time, the exhibition copy of the model was decorated with white genuine leather upholstery, which frankly hinted at the presence of a number of other luxurious options.

It is stated that the 2023 Exeed Sterra ET crossover will have a full autopilot. According to the “technology”, the car will basically become all-wheel drive, equipped with two electric motors with a total capacity of 480 “horses”. The estimated time to dial the first “hundred” is only 3 seconds.

In the form of a production car available for purchase, the Exeed Sterra ET SUV will appear only in 2024. The ET model in the Sterra lineup is positioned as a premium mid-size SUV, so its price will be appropriate.

Subsequently, the model range of the Sterra brand will be expanded, including through more and less large crossovers, as well as a minivan built on the same E0X “trolley”.

The main change of the updated Changan CS75 Plus 2023 is a new grille in the same style as the UNI model line, for example, like the Changan UNI-T (which will officially enter the Russian market soon).

The engine range remains the same, these are 1.5 (188 hp) and 2.0 (232 hp) petrol turbo units, complemented by an 8-automatic transmission Aisin.

But a Changan CS75 Plus 2023 modification with an iDD hybrid rechargeable transmission should appear soon. It consists of a 1.5-liter derated gasoline engine (170 hp) and a 110 kW (150 hp) electric motor, which is part of a six-speed automatic. In total, these units produce more than 300 “horses”. The hybrid should appear on sale in the summer, and outwardly it will differ from the gasoline versions with rims and a separate body decor.

In 2023, Changan’s CS75 is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Right now, a second-generation car is in service, which survived restyling in 2021. The next modernization of this mid-size crossover took place in the spring of this year, however, this time the Chinese limited themselves to the usual facelift.

One of the interesting features of the Chinese automotive market is the official sales of models of different age versions at the same time.
