L’Audi R8 will soon leave showrooms around the world. The German company is working on an electric successor, which will have a completely different name and identity.

Looking at the photos in detail, one would think that the Audi R8 in the tests is a rear-wheel drive. The chevron brand no longer had a large sedan in its range since the production of the Citroën C5 ceased in 2017 for the European market. The Audi Q9 presents itself with unofficial illustrations

Audi is developing a new large SUV, but details about it are scarce. Spy photos showed that something beefy was hiding under the camouflages, and a series of unofficial illustrations from our friends at Kolesa.ru helped remove them. Virtually anyway. The rendering here is clearly inspired by the Atlas, with Audi’s aesthetic codes at the front and at the rear. However, it doesn’t exactly match the SUV we saw in the spy photos. It wears too much camouflage to be able to see enough detail to clearly determine what it is. The shape of the glass surface looks similar between the two, but that’s about it.

The spy photos didn’t reveal much about the Audi’s rear design, but the camouflage does appear to reveal that the SUV will have a taillight bar, which is the focal point of the rear in renderings.

Details regarding the mysterious Audi model remain elusive. We have no idea what kind of engine it will have – anything is possible. We’ll have to wait a bit longer to get all the details on this new model. Chances are, it’s developed specifically for the Chinese market, which loves big SUVs and luxury crossovers. Audi h-tron Glaciah: an SUV that runs on hydrogen?
