“I don't think we're that close, but we've closed the gap.
“All the ingredients come together. We have to work very carefully, paying attention to how we prepare the recipe.
“Sometimes, you can have good ingredients, but if you're not a good chef, those ingredients don't necessarily produce the result you expect.
“That's one of the main areas for me and Zak (Brown, McLaren CEO) to make sure these ingredients we can bring together. So far, we're happy with it.”
