Tuning studio PaxPower from Texas, specializing in modifying Ford and Chevrolet pickups, took on the Toyota Tundra. The project, called Timberwolf, is distinguished by its super-off-road capabilities, which were provided by the suspension from Icon Vehicle Dynamics. It uses 2.5-inch coilovers at the front and new shock absorbers at the rear. Thanks to upgraded front suspension arms, ground clearance is increased by 51 mm at the front and 25 mm at the rear.
Also included in the upgrade package are 51mm fender flares and a set of aftermarket Method Race Wheels with 35.0-inch all-terrain tires.
Under the hood remains the same 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. The standard exhaust system is replaced with a stainless steel Magnaflow system. The output of the unit has been increased from 437 hp. and 790 Nm of torque up to 450 hp. and 813 Nm.
The Timberwolf Enhancement Package is available on all 2022-2024 Tundras, regardless of trim level. If desired, PaxPower customers will be able to choose the more efficient Icon Racing Dynamics or Fox Racing suspension components.
The truck pictured here is equipped with a Tundra TRD Pro front grille, a 50,000-pound Warn winch, Baja Design lights, a 20-inch light bar, and tow hooks.
The basic Timberwolf kit costs $9,950. But the final price tag will depend on the options and additional equipment chosen by the client.
