Cupra is changing the way drivers use their electric car with the launch of the Cupra Charging Map app.
With this infotainment app, Cupra drivers can easily and efficiently find charging stations, with up-to-date information, from their car's screen. Users can install the application and download it to their car completely free of charge in two ways: either through the MyCUPRA application from any smart device, or through the infotainment system.
There are already more than 620,000 charging points integrated in 27 European countries. The driver can find any charging station he wants through the screen of his car, once he opens the Cupra Charging Map application. The app displays information on the built-in navigation system, allowing the user to plan their journey, taking into account available charging points until they reach their final destination. Also included is the ability to search and check the availability of the nearest charging station, so that the driver can head there immediately, simply and stress-free.
In addition, the Cupra Charging Map also creates a community where users can view or provide online ratings and feedback for charging stations, making navigation for other drivers easier. The introduction of this new in-car application, which is combined with the Cupra Born – the brand's first electric car, takes Cupra a step beyond electrification.
The Cupra Born was the company's second most popular model in 2023, with 45,300 sales (+44.4% compared to the previous year).
