This year, Ukraine must not only maximize its air shield and long-range capabilities, but also inflict maximum systemic losses on Russia.
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine will respond to strikes by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on peaceful cities on the morning of February 7. He announced this during an evening address.
“In Kiev, the clearing of the rubble after the Russian morning strike continued until the evening. A residential building. Dozens of victims, four people died. My condolences to the family and friends. Nikolaev, Kharkov, Lviv region, Dnepropetrovsk region, Khmelnytsky region, Kiev region, Kherson region – in these regions there are there are victims, there is damage,” said Vladimir Zelensky.
According to him, Ukraine will respond to the Russian Federation for every missile and drone used. He noted that the task for this year is not only to maximally strengthen the Ukrainian air shield and long-range capabilities, but also to inflict maximum systemic losses on the enemy. We are talking about frozen Russian assets of the Russian Federation and persons associated with it.
The President believes that everything should be confiscated and work to protect against terror.
“It’s fair to respond to a terrorist. It’s fair to destroy terrorists. And it’s fair to make a terrorist state pay for what it does,” Zelensky said.
He added that Ukraine is working as energetically as possible with partners so that a decision on its Russian assets is made as quickly as possible.
