Available with 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder engines is the new MINI Cooper, in Cooper C and Cooper S versions.
Its fifth generation MINI Cooper is now also available with gasoline engines, for those who don't want electrics. As the British model began its journey in this generation with electric versions, while now at its base, but also above, gasoline versions with 3 cylinders and 4 cylinders engines.
Its range 3 door MINI Cooper so it is enriched, but it will no longer have diesel versions. As for the petrol versions, the introductory Cooper C equipped with a 3-cylinder engine 1.5 liters with performance 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. It accelerates from a standstill to the first 100 km/h in 7.7 secondshaving an average consumption of 6.5 – 5.9 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 146 – 133 g/km.
At the top is placed the version Cooper Swith 4 cylinders 2 liter performance engine 204 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. It completes the standard 0-100 km/h acceleration in 6.6 secondswith the average consumption being 6.7 – 6.1 l/100 km and the CO2 emissions being 150 – 138 g/km.
In terms of aesthetics and equipment, the petrol MINI Cooper will be available in versions Essential, Classic, Favoured and JCW, with the latter being about aesthetics and not engine power. Fits on aluminum rims from 16 to 18 inches, depending on the version. Four different roof colors are available, for two-tone, as well as a Multitone Roof version with tricolor.
In the interior things are the same as we know from the electric MINI Cooper. A 9.4 inch screen technology OLED is used for the multimedia system, while the physical controls are also retained for better ergonomics.
THE luggage compartment has a tumor 210 liters, while with the folding of the rear seats the price rises to 800 litres. THE fitting of the MINI Cooper C and Cooper S will take place at Great Britain, while its electric siblings are manufactured in China. Finally, a little later in the year we should expect the corresponding 5-door versions, with petrol engines, to be added to the model range.
