The new generation Mini Cooper line is expanding. The previously debuted electric car was joined by a petrol hatchback. This was reported on the automaker's official website.
The new Mini Cooper 2024 with an internal combustion engine is not visually very different from the electric version – only the radiator grille gives it away. The hatchback has a classic design with short overhangs, large round headlights and narrow taillights.
There is no instrument panel in the Mini Cooper interior – all readings are displayed on a round central display. The trunk volume of the hatchback is 210-800 liters.
The model will be offered in two versions. The base Mini Cooper C received a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo engine producing 156 hp. With. and a 7-speed robot with two clutches. It can accelerate to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and consumes an average of 6.5 l/100 km.

But the Clubman station wagon will no longer be available – it will be replaced by the compact crossover Mini Aceman, which was previously photographed during tests.
