In this context, aiming primarily at the safety of citizens, it is recommended to be regularly updated on the prevailing weather conditions and the state of the road network, as well as to avoid unnecessary travel. In the event that movement is necessary, citizens are advised to exercise particular caution and to strictly follow the instructions of the Traffic Police, in order to avoid accidents.
At the same time, it is recalled that if decisions are issued by the competent police services, the use of anti-slip means becomes mandatory, which it is recommended to have available on a permanent basis in their vehicle, in order to avoid inconvenience. To this end, strict controls will be carried out by special crews at key points along the road network.
