The Chinese Dongfeng eπ007 is electric and in the local market does not exceed 21,000 euros in cost.
The eπ 007 of China's Dongfeng is a stylish four-door electric fastback model with an aerodynamic design, as the drag coefficient does not exceed the 0,209. The front is quite reminiscent of a Chinese-sourced EV, while notable design elements are also the recessed handles of doorsthe thin LED rear lights and the retractable spoiler.
Chinese customers even have the option of equipping the eP007 with upward-opening doors as part of a special option package offered on the models 620Pro and 540 Max at a cost of no more than approx 3,000 euros.
In terms of dimensions, the eπ007 is long 4,880 mm, width 1.895 mm and height 1.460 mm., while its wheelbase amounts to 2.915 mm
Considering the price of the car, which will exceed in the basic version the 21,000 euros, one would expect the interior to be more than spartan. However, this is not the case. In the center of the dashboard we find the screen of the infotainment system which has a diameter 15.6 inch, while in front of the driver, there is one more 8,8 inches which can be folded like in a… McLaren 720S.
Dongfeng equips the eπ007 with front seats with 8-point massage functionambient lighting 64 colors, 20 speakers, 50W wireless charging and facial recognition to unlock the doors. It also has a complete range 38 sensors which contribute to the smooth operation of various features and capabilities.
The electric eπ007 will be available in the version 53Pro, which has a capacity battery 56,83 kWh, an efficient electric motor 160 kW on the rear axle and a range of up to 530 km “0-100” is completed in 6.8 seconds.
Version 620Pro is equipped with a larger battery 70,26 kWh and engine with performance 200 kW. Here, '0-100' is rounded to 5.8 seconds while the autonomy reaches the 620 km
At the top of the range is the edition 540Max. The battery “stays” at 70,26 kWh, while two electric motors perform in combination 536 hpThey.
Dongfeng also offers its new model in extended range version, which he names 200Pro. It has an internal combustion engine with 1.5 liter capacity, battery 28,39 kWh as well as the same electric motor of 160 kW of the basic electrical model. This version can travel up to 200 km exclusively with electricity or 1,200 km when the heat engine performs range extender duties.
