Carscoops has published spy photos of a camouflaged second-generation Hyundai Palisade prototype. It differs from the current model in a more vertical front part of the body, characteristic headlights and DRLs.
The large radiator grille of the predecessor was retained. While the shape of the A-pillars, roof and side windows with straight lines and sharp angles, the new Palisade is reminiscent of the 2025 Santa Fe. The wheel arches of the prototype are rounded, but on the production car they may well be square, like its smaller brother.
As is already known, with the change of generations, the Hyundai Palisade will move to a different platform with a longer wheelbase. This will allow us to offer a more spacious interior and a new line of power units. In particular, under the hood of the second-generation Palisade there will be a hybrid system based on a 2.5-liter engine and a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6. The latter will replace the previous V-shaped “six” with a displacement of 3.8 liters.
The release date of the second generation Hyundai Palisade has not been announced. Considering that the last update of the current model was released at the beginning of 2022, the presentation of the next generation crossover will take place in 2025.
