Luxury Cars Hamburg has put up for sale a limited-edition BMW 3.0 CSL sports car. The model was released in an edition of 50 copies and one of them can be yours.
The car is in perfect condition. Its odometer shows 25 km, which is most likely an engine calibration rather than actual mileage. The exterior is finished in Alpine White with color stripes inspired by the 1970 sports car. The BMW is equipped with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 560 hp, which is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
It is known that when assembling the BMW 3.0 CSL, the company’s specialists used unique welding processes for the wheel arches, which are significantly wider than those of the standard M4, which became the basis of the model. The craftsmen at the Dingolfing paint shop were responsible for the exterior finishing. Final assembly was carried out in a workshop created specifically for this sports car in Moostenning.
The car was valued at a whopping 1.25 million euros (about $1.35 million). And that’s more than its starting price. The manufacturer asked about $800,000 for each car in 2022. As for the exhibited copy, it certainly looks like new, but it is still far from being a rarity, so increasing the price by a quarter is in no way justified.
