Thanks to a series of innovations that it incorporates, Rimac is able to offer a multi-year warranty on the Nevera electric battery, with absolutely no limitation on the kilometers that its owners will travel during the intended period.
Rimac, known for its meteoric rise in recent years, continues to lead the way in the world of electric mobility by announcing today that the high-voltage battery of the ‘outrageous’ 1,914bhp Nevera is now supported for new and old customers with 8-year warranty, with unlimited mileage for that period.
Built to deliver power 1.4 MWthe Nevera battery has capacity 120 kWh and designed according to the most stringent specifications of the Croatian Rimac. Featuring an H-shaped design – which was chosen, unlike other flat-floor skateboard-style layouts, to allow the driver and passenger to sit low in the car, rather than feeling ‘on top’»- adopts the nickel-manganese-lithium chemistryhaving refrigerants plates water–glycolwhich run through the cells, rather than just on top or bottom of them, to provide even more efficient cooling to the entire array.
As a result of this innovative design, Nevera’s battery exhibits a wide range of capabilities. Last year, in fact, the Croatian hypercar set not one, not two, but 23 speed and performance records in one day, achieving approx. 30 sprint full throttle acceleration in less than 8 hours, with no noticeable drop in battery performance.
According to standard measurements based on the WLTP protocol, the battery in question can “give” up to 490 kilometers autonomy and can charge with maximum power up to 500kWa speed that only very few public chargers can currently support.

Rimac’s 8-year warranty covers all major battery failures. At the same time, Mate Rimac’s company, which is now “one body” with Bugatti, promises that at the end of the warranty period the degradation of battery will not be lower than 75% of its maximum capacity.
