A seven-seat version will appear in the third-generation Volkswagen Tiguan family. The new product with the prefix L Pro in the name will debut in the coming months, but for now patent photos have been leaked online.
The new crossover is practically no different in appearance from the five-seater version. It has similar headlights, grille, bumpers and taillights. The differences boil down to the elongated rear doors and window. And the R-Line package has a larger black grille, an aggressive bumper and upgraded wheels.
It is known that the seven-seater Volkswagen Tiguan will have a wheelbase of 2791 mm, which is 10 mm longer than the standard version. Its total length will be 4735 mm, which is 184 mm longer than the five-seater. In the Chinese market, the crossover will be offered with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 186 and 220 hp.
