SIXT will be supplied within the next three years with 250,000 cars of this group.
Mobility service provider SIXT and Stellantis, one of the world’s leading car manufacturers, announced that they have entered into an agreement several billion euros based on which the first will buy up to 250,000 vehicles for its fleet of rental vehicles across Europe and North America over the next three years.
The first cars will be delivered already from first quarter of 2024 and will continue throughout the year.
SIXT customers will benefit from an attractive selection of vehicles from Stellantis’ well-known brands, including Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroen, Dodge, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Opel/Vauxhall, Peugeot, Ram and Maserati.
Deliveries of the 250,000 cars to SIXT will include a variety of vehicles, from city cars to SUVs, vans and trucks, and all engine types including BEVs.
In addition, Stellantis and SIXT will also explore possible cooperation opportunities in various sectors around the world, including Mobilisights, Stellantis’ data as a service (DaaS) business.
During the deliveries of the above vehicles by Stellantis, the number of fully connected cars in SIXT’s rental fleet will increase significantly.
By purchasing Stellantis vehicles with reduced or zero emission powertrains, including battery electric vehicles (BEVs), the deal also aligns with SIXT’s goal significantly reduce the CO2 footprint of the fleet her and to “catch” the goal he wants tits electric vehicles in Europe by 2030 to occupy a share from 70 to 90%.
