One of them was shown a photograph of Maxim Andreevich Myshkin, born in 1983. He also fought in Chechnya and was awarded the medal “For Courage” and the “Guard” and “For Service” badges.
Channel administrators wrote that in 2009 he was sentenced to 24 years and 11 months in a maximum security colony for double murder, as well as attempted third murder and robbery. Then Myshkin was 26 years old. Then Russian journalists called him “the strangler of old women.”
According to the material, it is said that the man entered the home of his victims, suffocated them with a pillow, and then took money and valuables. He also stole food from houses. In court, he did not admit his guilt, and also refused the testimony he gave during the preliminary hearing.
It is noted that in 2022, Myshkin appealed to the Supreme Court of the Udmurt Republic and asked for release due to illness. So, he was diagnosed with a demyelinating disease of the central nervous system, but the court decided to keep him behind bars. Then Myshkin remained in prison for another 12 years.
The channel reported that Myshkin died on February 22, 2023. At the time of his death he was 40 years old. His grave was discovered at the Khokhryakovsky cemetery in Izhevsk.
