The Lexus RZ Sport concept, which was presented at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show, has received a production version. The new product, called RZ450e F Sport Performance, will be released in an edition of 100 copies.
The presented electric crossover is almost identical to the concept. The differences boil down to a wide insert under the headlights, made of carbon fiber, and a different front bumper with a splitter, which is covered with carbon fiber and painted blue. The 21-inch Enkei aluminum wheels look more stylish than the concept’s wheels.
The interior of the crossover is trimmed with high-quality suede with contrasting black and blue stitching. The steering wheel is wrapped in synthetic leather, there are blue accents on the dashboard, and the pedals are made of aluminum.
The RZ450e F Sport Performance is equipped with the same 71.4 kWh battery pack as the standard model. The power plant is twin-engine. The electric motor mounted on the front axle produces 204 hp, and the rear axle produces 109 hp. The new product will be available on the Japanese market at a price of 11,800,000 yen (about $81,000).
