The first three heavy-duty Volvo FH16 750 tractors in the top configuration arrived in Ukraine. The vehicles were supplied to Negabarit-Service, a leader in the excess transportation market.
The Volvo FH16 750 is truly unique in its characteristics. The tractors are equipped with a D16K series engine with a power of 750 hp. This Volvo model is considered the lightest tractor in its class for transporting heavy loads. In addition, Negabarit-Service ordered aluminum wheels and some other lightweight parts (aluminum air receivers, etc.).
The FH16 750 has a reinforced rear bogie with air suspension, drive axles with a load capacity of up to 13 tons, and a front steered axle with a capacity of 9 tons. The maximum load on the rear bogie is 35 tons.
The model also has a VEB engine brake, and an additional retarder is installed. There is an automated box for extremely difficult operating conditions, with Heavy Duty software. It has 12 gears, in addition there are two low-speed and a separate ultra-low reverse gear.
The equipment includes a comfortable air suspension for the cabin. There is adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring with cameras, a sleep sensor, and adaptive high beams. The ultra-high XL cabin with two berths is equipped with a Black Edition full leather interior, microwave, coffee maker, and parking air conditioning. There are enlarged storage compartments, an electric sofa, a table, a swivel chair with a Relax option and many other amenities for drivers.
Several Goldhofer trailers were ordered for these tractors. One of them is equipped with 32 modular axes.
Negabarit-Service already has more than one hundred and twenty Volvo trucks in its fleet. In the future, the company plans to expand its fleet with Volvo trucks.
And this is not only for the transportation of heavy loads, but also for the second Freshmove brand, which is engaged in the transportation of refrigerated semi-trailers, including dangerous goods (from the first to the ninth class) and transportation in food and chemical tanks.
