Michigan resident Chad Nasir has been a passionate fan of Toyota Land Cruiser SUVs since childhood. He grew up in Libya, where cars of this model were only available to very rich people. Therefore, after moving to the USA, Chad promised himself to buy them when funds allowed.
And he kept his word. In less than two years, Chad purchased 24 Land Cruisers. Almost all of the SUVs in his collection are left-hand drive, imported from the Middle East to Michigan. In addition, they are equipped with a manual transmission. He first purchased a 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser 200, and a year later he bought a similar version of the model, but produced in 2015.
Later, Chad shifted his focus and began buying a Land Cruiser 80 from the 90s. He also added a Toyota Land Cruiser 70 pickup and a classic 70s FJ40 to his collection. Some of the SUVs have more than 200,000 miles (320,000 km) on them and are used for everyday tasks, while others have covered just 60,000 miles (100,000 km) and are saved for special occasions.
It is worth noting that Nasir in the USA owns a small company, Midnight Protective Films, whose services include applying protective ceramic coatings to car bodies, as well as window tinting and vinyl film.
