They will limit the speed to 80 km/h
We still do not know when exactly the traffic from the D1ka near Bratislava will move to detour routes. On the positive side, it seems that the authorities are leaving nothing to chance and are planning bypass routes with three lanes in each direction, although the speed on them will be limited to 80 kilometers per hour.
Within the detour routes, there will be segmental speed measurement – the radars will record you if you exceed the speed limit on the given section and send you home a penalty.
As HN adds, the alternative will be train transport. ZSSK is ready to strengthen train connections on routes connecting the capital with, for example, Galanta, Leopoldov, Nitra, Trnava, Vrútki or Martin. Railway operators expect passenger demand to increase, especially during the main phase of traffic restrictions on the D1.
