Even Petrov was not completely lucky, especially when it comes to his Rolf car dealerships. Based on the latest decree signed by President Putin, they ended up in the forced administration of the Russian state. It is not clear for how long and what will happen to the property.
Petrov commented that it is a forcible takeover of a business without a legal basis. According to him, the latest step will reduce the confidence of investors in Russia. “In my opinion, the country is shooting itself in the foot with this,” stated.
One way or another, this step also proves the deviation of the Russian approach (and not only) to the automobile market from what we normally know in Central Europe.
