The Japanese tuning company DAMD, which produces body kits for the Suzuki Jimny, has prepared two new kits. They will transform your car into the legendary 1980s rally cars Renault 5 Turbo and Lancia Delta Integrale. Their official presentation will take place at the Tokyo Motor Show, which will be held from January 12 to 14.
The tuners called the Suzuki Jimny with a body kit in the style of the Renault 5 Turbo “Little 5”. The package includes a new front end with a thin grille, square headlights and a gray plastic bumper. The standard black fender flares were replaced with wider ones in body color. On the rear wings there are small stickers that imitate the air vents, like on the Renault 5. The set also includes a roof spoiler and a new rear bumper with rectangular lights. On the doors there are large stickers with the words “Non TURBO”, referencing the Renault Turbo.
The second “Little Δ” kit is inspired by the Lancia Delta Integrale. It makes the Jimny look even wilder. To achieve this, the tuners used a new radiator grille in the style of an Italian rally car, round headlights, a large roof spoiler and bumpers painted in body color. A black and white racing stripe runs from the leading edge of the hood to the trailing edge of the roof.
Especially for these packages, DAMD, together with OZ Racing, have developed a new version of the Italian company’s iconic rally steering wheel. The wheels are offered in two versions: gray with white stickers and white with red stickers. But you will have to pay extra for them.
The new DAMD packages do not provide for any technical changes. The tuner will most likely announce their cost during the official presentation.
