MBUX was one of the first infotainment based on artificial intelligence given that the distant for the pace of technological development, 2018 appeared in the A-Class. Since then, Mercedes takes care with every opportunity and every new model to strengthen the capabilities of MBUX and the artificial intelligence on which it is based, while already in the middle of the year it announced the use of ChaGPT, in the entertainment and information system of its models.
Now, with the upcoming CES technology show as a starting point, it is preparing to take another step as it is going to present from Las Vegas a new digital assistant that promises a more natural interaction between car and driver-user. The virtual assistant as described by the German brand is expected to give the voice command system that is activated with the command Hey Mercedes, “a different visual dimension” as in addition to the more natural interaction, graphics designed by Unity Technologies will be used which specializes Byriaphics for gaming.
Although at the moment the German firm does not give clarifications, apparently the new functionality of voice commands will be part of the new infotainment, evolution of MBUX which the German firm calls MB.OS, evolves with Unity expected to make its appearance in new Mercedes models already with the new year.
In addition to its new digital assistant, the German brand will present in Las Vegas in an American debut the Concept CLA, the prototype it revealed in Munich and is a design and technological taste of the future of the new small Mercedes as well as a camouflaged version of the G electric drive – Class.
