M-Sport Ford has announced the line-up of its drivers in the two Puma Rally1 Hybrids that will take part in the WRC special stages for 2024.
THE Adrien Fourmaux with co-driver Alex Coria, and Gregoire Munster along with Louis Louka, will make up the two crews for the M-Sport Ford in the WRC for 2024, as Malcolm Wilson’s team officially announced today.
Despite their young age (p.s.: the sum of the two drivers’ ages does not exceed 52 years!), both Fourmaux and Munster are familiar with the Puma Rally1 Hybrid, having driven it in the past on various occasions and surfaces.
28-year-old Adrien Fourmaux, who drove the Puma Rally1 Hybrid in several races in 2022, switched in 2023 to a Ford Fiesta Rally2 specifications.
In contrast, Gregoire Munster had his first contact with a Rally1 class car in Rally Chile in Septemberdriving the Puma Rally1 lent to him by Iordanis Serderidis. The 24-year-old then impressed on the tarmac, securing seventh place in the Central European Rally.
“In 2024 we are taking a new and different approach compared to the last 12 months. Developing new talent is one way for us to approach the new WRC season, and with several of the top drivers not competing in the full championship, we have opportunities to put in some good performances.”said head of M-Sport Ford Richard Millener.
