Subaru has added some additional standard features and a new trim level to the 2024 WRX lineup. This explains the increase in the base price tag by $2,230 compared to 2023. Thus, you will have to pay at least $33,855 for the basic version. For this money they offer a standard 11.6-inch Subaru Starlink Multimedia Plus touchscreen and EyeSight technology. The latter is available for the first time in models with a manual transmission.
The WRX Premium went up $1,630 to $35,755. The price increase is justified by the addition of 18.0-inch alloy wheels as standard. Also included in the base are heated front seats and side mirrors, aluminum pedals, an engine start button and USB-C ports. The list of paid options is supplemented by a Harman Kardon audio system with 11 speakers and a panoramic sunroof. Customers can also choose the Subaru Performance Transmission (SPT) CVT.
The WRX Limited starts at $40,135, $1,620 more than the 2023 model. Standard features include TomTom voice-activated navigation, a Harman Kardon audio system and a 10-way adjustable ultrasuede driver’s seat.
A new addition to the lineup, the WRX TR is available exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. It comes standard with Brembo brakes, Recaro seats, a panoramic sunroof and 19.0-inch alloy wheels with Bridgestone Potenza summer tires. The WRX TR also has a stiffer suspension and a retuned steering rack. The WRX TR has a starting price of $42,775.
The top-end WRX GT has risen in price by $920 over the year and now costs $45,335. From the assembly line, such a car is equipped with Recaro seats, 18.0-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension and electronic ride control. The gearbox is a non-alternative variator.
All versions of the 2024 Subaru WRX are equipped with a proprietary 2.4-liter boxer turbo engine producing 275 hp. The maximum torque of the unit is 350 Nm.
The new Subaru WRX will go on sale in early 2024.
