For the 7th year in a row, the largest Conference on Electric Mobility in our country is being organized on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Hellenic Automobile Museum, in the center of Athens.
For the 7th consecutive year, the Hellenic Energy Economy Society (HAEE) and insider.gr, are co-organizing the largest Conference on Electric Mobility, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Following last year’s successful outcome, the Conference returns once again to the Hellenic Automobile Museum, a space that highlights in the best way the evolution of motoring from yesterday to today.
Taking into account all the latest developments in the market and highlighting the immediate and imminent future of a new everyday life with electric mobility as the protagonist, the Conference will focus on four thematic axes: Infrastructure Talks, Transport Talks, Innovation Talks & Safety Talks. Electric mobility is developing rapidly in our country, creating new needs and challenges. Sales of all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars in Greece for the first time surpassed diesel sales on the way to 2035, when sales of conventional cars will be completely banned.
The recent reduction of VAT from 24% to 6% for public charging, Kinoumai Electrika 2, tax incentives for businesses and the requirement from 1 January 2024 of at least a quarter (1/4) of new company cars for private use classified by company cumulatively as pure electric vehicles or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, will, among other things, be at the center of the discussions at the Conference to highlight all the important aspects of the sector.
As every year, the Congress will be graced with the presence of representatives of the Government, local government, automotive industry and charging infrastructure, logistics companies, public transport organizations, university bodies and research institutions. The Conference will be held in the Greek language with the physical presence of speakers & participants. Source: Hellenic Energy Economy Society
