On the outskirts of the American town of Whitesboro (Texas), automobile enthusiasts found abandoned classic cars from the middle of the last century. On the field next to the hangar there are several dozen cars of different makes and models.
According to preliminary estimates, about 30 cars were left to rot. The lion’s share among them is occupied by Chevrolet brand models. Most of the cars have rusted over the years of inactivity, turning into a pile of metal. Some specimens have completely merged with nature and now, in order to get them, you will first have to cut down the bushes and trees that have grown through the bodies.
The most valuable items in this abandoned collection are a 1960 Chevrolet El Camino and a Mercury Capri. Although the cars are far from ideal, they are quite possible to restore. It is noteworthy that all the cars that have been rotting in the field for years are put up for sale on the Bring a Trailer site. Due to their condition, many of them can only become donors of spare parts.
