Ferrari has become the first team to announce when it will unveil its new car, which will compete in the 2024 F1 World Championship.
“The presentation will take place on February 13, 2024, a day before Valentine’s Day and two weeks before the start of the new racing season, Scuderia Ferrari boss Frederic Vasseur confirmed. However, the Frenchman did not reveal further details, including the name of the new car: “You will see the rest on the 13th of the month,” he added. Explaining why Ferrari chose to unveil its 2024 car a day earlier than last year, Vasseur revealed it was due to a tight timetable to get the cars ready for pre-season testing. “We have the tests and it’s a big challenge to put it all together, we had no choice,” he said. “I think some of the teams will do it on the 14th of the month. But it’s quite a challenge to be ready for the Bahrain pre-season F1 test already.” We remind you that the tests in the Arab country will be three days and will be held from February 21 to 23.
Ferrari dominated the Singapore Grand Prix with Carlos Sainz, marking the only race during the 2023 season that Red Bull failed to win. Ferrari’s ‘drought’ in the F1 World Constructors’ Championship dates back to 2008when he mastered it for 16th and last time to date.
