The units of the State Emergency Service in the Ivano-Frankivsk region recently received unique equipment – a mobile headquarters for eliminating the consequences of emergency situations. The complex was transferred within the framework of the largest infrastructure project of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and Romania – Bridge. The project is funded by the European Union. Its budget exceeds 7 million euros, of which 1.8 million euros were allocated for the State Emergency Service of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The mobile headquarters consists of a Renault Trucks K series all-wheel drive vehicle with a 6×6 wheel arrangement. A van with sliding walls is installed on the chassis, which contains special equipment for coordinating the work of various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Operators collect and process various information, including through online broadcasting from the emergency zone – for this, a surveillance drone is used. Along with the Renault Trucks vehicle, an operational rescue vehicle based on the Volkswagen Transporter T6.1 minibus was also delivered.
