Genesis, which is a premium sub-brand of Hyundai, introduced the updated G80 sedan. It underwent a planned restyling following the sister GV80 and GV80 Coupe.
The model looks recognizable. It embodies the idea of “sporty elegance” and has a new radiator grille design, headlights with adjusted graphics and a front bumper with a larger air intake. You can also note the hidden exhaust and 20-inch wheels with a special design. The model will be available in ten colors, including the new shade Brooklyn Brown.
In addition to the standard version of the model, Genesis showed the updated G80 Sport. It features a unique front bumper with aggressive air intakes, V-shaped accents and dual exhaust tips.
The G80’s interior has also been adjusted. Its equipment includes a 27-inch display that combines a digital instrument panel and a multimedia system. There is also a new climate control system control unit and gear lever.
The premium sedan will be offered with 2.5- and 3.5-liter engines producing 304, 375 and 415 hp. An electric version with 470 hp output will also be available, which can travel up to 450 km on a single charge.
