ATO veteran Evgeniy Dikiy said that any other tasks for the Russian Federation are only intermediate goals. For example, such as the complete occupation of the Donetsk region of Ukraine.
Russia has not changed its intention to completely take over Ukraine. This was stated by the former platoon commander of the Aidar battalion, Yevgeny Dikiy, on the Espreso TV channel.
According to him, during the war, the Russians finally convinced themselves that only this scenario made sense for them. Otherwise, disaster awaits them.
“This goal for the Russians has not changed. On the contrary, during this war they have finally convinced themselves that only this goal has real meaning for them, and everything else is a disaster for them,” Dikiy said.
He noted that any other tasks for the Russian Federation are only intermediate goals. For example, such as the complete occupation of the Donetsk region of Ukraine.
“Just as an intermediate goal is Avdiivka or Maryinka, the entire Donetsk region is also an intermediate goal. Therefore, even reaching the borders of the Donetsk region is not the final goal of the occupiers,” he said.
Let us recall that Yevgeny Diky previously stated that it is necessary to send some Ukrainian law enforcement officers to the front. According to him, employees of the National Police, SBI, NABU, NAPC, Fiscal Service and Customs underwent physical training, a medical examination, and have basic weapons skills. These citizens have a certain level in contrast to the ordinary civilian mobilized.
