King Long, through Green Energy Buses SA and A. Nikas SA, offers the Greek market zero-emission buses, ideal for municipal transport needs. King Long’s electric buses are equipped with batteries from CATL, the world’s leading battery producer chosen by the most important car manufacturers in Europe and the USA.
CATL’s solid state batteries work at 100% in outdoor temperatures up to 65 degrees Celsius and are a solution for hot climate countries like Greece. In comparison, in lithium-ion batteries, the corresponding temperature is up to 45 degrees Celsius.
King Loong offers three different models of electric buses of 6.9 and 12 meters in length, with a maximum capacity of 25, 62 and 94 passengers respectively. The flexible minibus K06 has a range of 180-240 km on a single charge, while the 9 meter midibus K09 provides a range of around 300 km. Finally, the 12-meter K12 Estar with a 420 kWh battery has a range that exceeds 400 kilometers.
