A 36-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were wounded in the Russian attack, police said. Local authorities also reported damage to civilian infrastructure.
On the night of December 8, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a rocket attack on Kharkov. The mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, announced this in his Telegram channel.
According to Terekhov, the Russian Armed Forces carried out at least five strikes on Kharkov, as a result of which residential buildings were damaged in several areas of the settlement. The official also reported one casualty.

In turn, the Chairman of the Kharkov Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov clarified that the Russian occupiers carried out 6 strikes on Kharkov. According to his information, “arrivals” were recorded in the Kholodnogorsk and Shevchenkovsky districts of the city.
Sinegubov confirmed data on damage to civilian residential infrastructure and one casualty.
Later, the Kharkov region police added that two people were injured as a result of the shelling – a 25-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman. The woman was treated at the scene, and the man was taken to hospital with blast injuries.
According to law enforcement officials, the condition of the victims is satisfactory.
Let us remind you that on December 7, the Russian Armed Forces attacked a thermal power plant located in the front-line zone. Equipment was seriously damaged as a result of the shelling. The Ministry of Energy recorded a temporary shortage of electricity in the energy system.
In total, on the night of December 7, the Russian occupiers launched 18 drones across the territory of Ukraine, 15 of which were shot down by air defense forces and means. The main directions of attack are Khmelnitsky and Odessa regions.
