The collection of abandoned vehicles by the Municipality of Lykovrysi-Pefki continues, with the aim of beautifying the neighborhoods and serving the citizens.
Two more abandoned cars and a two-wheeler were removed from the streets, while in total the crew has removed 70 vehicles and two-wheelers in the last two years. Also after pasting a notice on vehicles, more than 40 were removed from their owners and the Municipality did not have to proceed to the next stage.
The Mayor of Lykovrysis-Pefkis and General Secretary of PED Attica Tasos Mavridis said in this regard: “We continue to remove abandoned vehicles, which occupy parking spaces and are sources of contamination for our neighborhoods. We do it consistently and with great frequency and we will do it until the end of our term. In this way, we achieve in this way that the streets are delivered free for pedestrians and vehicles, while with the vehicles that are removed we strengthen another stream of recycling, which has been operating in our Municipality for the last few years”.
