Two Metro stations will remain closed on Wednesday, December 6, due to the gatherings and marches that have been announced for the 15th anniversary of the assassination of Al. Grigoropoulou.
By order of the Hellenic Police (EL.AS), the “Paneistimio” Metro station will be closed on Wednesday, December 6 at 9 am, while the “Monastiraki” station will be closed from 11 am to 3 pm and from six in the afternoon until later. Trains will pass through these stations without stopping.
On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, extraordinary traffic regulations will be implemented during the midday and afternoon hours on various road axes in the center of Athens. The above traffic regulations will be implemented gradually and depending on the present conditions. Measures to facilitate traffic in the wider area of the center of Athens have been planned and will be taken by the Attica Traffic Directorate. For this reason, drivers are requested to avoid driving and parking their vehicles in the wider area of the event venues, both to serve them and to avoid additional traffic problems.
