As the secret service established, the occupiers abuse women and prisoners of war. One of the Russian military men told a journalist in a telephone conversation what atrocities the Russian Armed Forces were committing.
The Ukrainian security service exposed Russian soldiers who raped women and tortured prisoners of war. This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
The Ukrainian special service learned about the atrocities of the occupiers from an intercepted telephone conversation between a Russian military officer and a Bashkortostan correspondent Kudasheva Guzel, who works for the Aurgazinsky Vestnik newspaper.
It is reported that the occupier serves in the 3rd battalion named after Marat Safin (7th company, 36th regiment of the 25th Army of the Russian Federation), and his call sign is “Rafael”. The journalist with whom the occupier spoke constantly communicates with the Russian military and publishes materials about the “exploits” of the military, but she never writes about the war crimes committed.
So, in a conversation, the occupier told how other soldiers rape and torture people, in particular prisoners of war. For example, he told how in one of the cities of the Donetsk region, four invaders raped a woman, after which they killed and burned the body.
The UN admitted that the Russian Armed Forces execute and torture Ukrainian soldiers (document)
According to the Russian military, the command knows about the crimes of its military, but turns a blind eye to the crimes committed. In addition, he described how the occupiers abused Ukrainian prisoners, in particular, they castrated, raped and tortured them using foam.
Let us remind you that according to Russian media, Russia is holding captive more than 4 thousand Ukrainian civilians. In particular, more than 90% of prisoners suffer from torture, with men suffering the most. It is known that the occupiers use electric shockers against Ukrainians and also cut their fingertips.
Also at the end of November, the Coordination Headquarters reported that Russia had suspended the exchange of prisoners. In this way, they want to create the impression that the Ukrainian authorities are not actively working on this issue.
