The situation in the Avdeevsky direction
Let us recall that in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dated December 5, it was reported that in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian troops will continue to hold back the enemy, who is not abandoning attempts to encircle Avdiivka.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the Russian occupiers. The defense forces successfully repulsed 18 enemy attacks in areas east of Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka, Stepnoye, and Northern Donetsk region.
Let us remind you that on December 5, military expert Yevgeny Diky said that the Defense Forces in the Avdiivka area will not be able to hold out for long if there are no reinforcements. According to him, our military has not yet received orders to retreat from Avdiivka. He added that in order to turn the situation around, significant reserves need to be transferred to the Avdeevka area.
