The Rallye version has written history in golden letters and is now available again thanks to the concern of a dealer.
A Swiss importer-representative of Peugeot, with enough passion, appetite and passion, seems to have set out to revive legendary edition Rally. A version that was loved as few by car lovers and wrote indelible memories in the form of 205 and 106 which was released.
This particular version, unofficially, pays tribute to 205 Turbo 16 Group Ba car that was as loved as few in racing.
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the presentation of the racing 205 T16, a Swiss import company, the Garages Cold made the decision to create a special edition Peugeot 208 Rally.
His image is aesthetically successful, as it is based on White color, which was also the dominant of the old Rallye. The details with the stripes are also characteristic, while the changes are completed by 16 inch steel wheelspainted in body color.
The sticker on the top of the windshield with the badges Peugeot Talbot it also gives a distinct racing aura. Passing on interior some red details with carbon elements are the special touch of the 208 Rallye.
But what has not changed, unfortunately for those who are really interested, are the mechanical parts and the chassis. Underneath this Rallye special edition is the simple 1.2 petrol turbo with 100 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. No changes have been made to the suspension either, with the weight of the car being 1,165 kg.
The Peugeot 208 Rallye is available exclusively in Switzerland, from this importer Garages Cold and even in a limited number of cars, for 24,500 Swiss francs or 25,865 euros.
