After much speculation about who will fill the number two spot at Williams next year, the Grove-based team have renewed their confidence in Logan Sargeant.
THE Williams confirmed that the Logan Sargeant will remain with the team for a second season in Formula 1framing him Alexander Albon. Sargeant joined the Williams after one season in Formula 2, but he had a difficult year. After showing speed in the early stages of the season, a series of accidents after the summer break put his place in the team in doubt. However, the Grove-based team opted to keep the American driver for another season.
“I’m excited to continue with her Williams Racing and 2024. It’s been an incredible journey so far and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow as a driver within such a talented and dedicated team,” he said. Logan Sargeant finished this season with a point, which he scored at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. Williams finished the year ranked seventh in the world championship standings, taking her highest ranking since 2017.
