The love of the goalkeeper of Real Madrid Thibaut Courtois for motor sports she is known. The Belgian has appeared several times to “cut” rides in the Formula 1 paddocks while we have seen him even more to get behind the wheel of impressive cars.
This weakness of his led him the previous August to the decision to found his own motorsport team which he named TC Racingfrom the initials of his name.
The first big move was made official a few days ago when it became known that will participate in the new Spanish Formula 4 seasonwith the former Formula 1 driver Roberto Merhi to assume an important role in the venture.
Courtois’ team, however, did not stop there. A few hours ago it was announced its participation in the 2024 Dakar Rally with the Italian-Spanish driver Christine Giampaoli Zonta, known as Christine GZ.
Christine has been running here for a while decade in off-road racing, however this will be the first to start in the toughest rally in the world. Her debut will be with a light buggy in the T4 class while the co-driver will have the “powder-smoked” Ricardo Torlaschi which counts 13 participation in the match.

His experience Torlaschi it is she who will play an important role in the outcome of the race, both for the newly formed team and for the driver. Their trip to Dakar will start on January 5th from Saudi Arabia and first goal is to finish on the 19th of the same month, having covered almost 8.000 km in the hot desert.
