The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the expert of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko, may begin in the near future.
So far, the prerequisites for a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already being felt. This was announced on March 17 in an interview with RBC-Ukraine by the military-political expert of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko.
As early as this spring, the Ukrainian army is likely to be able to launch a counteroffensive to liberate territories from Russian occupiers. How the attack will begin is still unknown. Obviously, the war is unlikely to end after this.
The specialist believes that the situation is developing positively, since conditions are being formed that can contribute to the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, the following factors:
destruction of Russian air defense to increase the possibility of using aviation; destruction of rear reserves of Russian troops, which reduces the likelihood of providing forward units; destruction of command and control posts, which significantly reduces the effectiveness of command and control of advanced units.
These factors create the necessary prerequisites for a counteroffensive in the Kherson region or other areas. The map of hostilities is carefully studied by the Ukrainian command.
Earlier, Focus reported that the ex-commander of the Aidar platoon, Yevhen Dykyi, named three factors for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Mobilization in Ukraine, according to the expert, was successful, so we should expect a powerful blow from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. When the war in Ukraine ended, he did not answer.
Also, political scientist and publicist Andrei Piontkovsky expressed an opinion about the likelihood of an attack on the temporarily occupied Crimea. He believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine can go to the coast of the Sea of Azov and enter the island, but the Crimean bridge needs to be destroyed. For this, in his opinion, long-range ATACMS missiles are needed, which allegedly are not yet in the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
