The celebrity also starred in a 12-episode behind-the-scenes series for a luxury jewelry brand.
Chopard and 55-year-old actress Julia Roberts are collaborating on a new campaign called Movie Love, a 12-part digital series created by director James Gray. Forbes writes about it.
The first video will be released on March 20, which is also “International Day of Happiness”. The videos are accompanied by a new visual effects ad campaign by photographer Alasdair McLellan. The luxury brand provides a behind-the-scenes look at Roberts and Hollywood life.
“For me, every day is an international day of happiness, World Happiness Day,” Julia said in a press release.
Julia Roberts has been the face of the Happy Sport and Happy Diamonds collections since 2021. Now she has become a global ambassador for all collections of women’s jewelry and watches.
Roberts says the cutscenes combine scenes from the script with improvisational moments, which she compares to her first performance at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival with Chopard, the festival’s official partner.
“I was running late and I was rushing down the hallway,” she said in her statement. Someone was still sewing my dress up, so we all ran down the hallway to the elevator. And I just thought, “This is such a classic.”
For the campaign, Roberts wears Chopard Haute Joaillerie heart earrings set with 88 diamonds totaling over 28 carats, set in 18k white gold. The heart-shaped earrings were chosen by Roberts herself, who liked their design.
Focus previously wrote that the Pretty Woman star was shocked to learn during a recent episode of Ancestry’s “Finding Your Roots” that her great-great-grandmother Rhoda Suttle Roberts had an affair with a married man following the death of her husband, Willis Roberts.
