Last summer, the premiere of a new generation of the third-generation Logan / Sandero car family was supposed to take place in Russia, but due to the February events, Renault left the Russian market.
Today, a year later, you can see what the new cars might look like thanks to the patent images published in the European media of the facelift version of the Renault Sandero Stepway 2023 cross-hatchback. no common body parts.
Another important difference, in the plans of the French company Renault, was the supply of new Logan / Sandero sedans and hatchbacks exclusively in Stepway cross-versions with an off-road body kit.
They prepared a special design for them, which endowed the “budget” cars with fashionable two-story optics. And in general, the old version of the exterior was guessed here, except perhaps from the shape of the side glazing. The body kit was also completely revised, and the base version, apparently, should have been a version with a two-tone body color (with a black roof).

External design
Dacia and Renault took different paths, and if in the first case a conservative approach to the creation of a new style was preserved, then in the second, an attempt to achieve clear originality from the image of the new car became obvious.
The 2023 Renault Sandero Stepway hatch received new doors, hood, fenders and trunk lid. The front lighting equipment was enriched by LED “eyebrows” and foglights, which ended up at the very bottom of the bumper. At the stern, “boomerangs” appeared, and the roof visually acquired a coupe-like profile.

The new generation Renault Logan Stepway 2023 sedan was supposed to receive a similar design. He, for sure, should have gotten a new interior panel with a larger central display, which would be offered as an option.
The new interior, judging by the evolution of the Dacia cabin, would look more stylish and modern, but still would not go beyond the capabilities of the B-class. Moreover, the basic equipment of such machines should have remained with analog “instruments” and fabric seat upholstery.
Technical filling
1.6-liter gasoline engines, as well as mechanical, robotic and automatic “boxes” were installed on sedans and hatchbacks of the Russian specification.
The European trend is the modernization of 1.0-liter engines: the aspirated SCe (65 hp) and the TCe turbo engine, which are now being put on analogs with Dacia emblems.

The Brazilian “state employees” also have their own range of engines, which also evolve according to their own separate program, and in 2023, they risk getting exactly the same exterior as the cars that were being prepared for Russia.
Prices and start of sales
Renault Sandero Stepway 2023 has not reached the Russian market, but in a similar form, the car may soon appear in Brazil.
